IT Assessment / Business Alignment

Working with stakeholders across the company to document strategic business objectives (increasing revenue from $250 million to $350 million or 30% over 24 – 36 months while maintaining or increasing margins) then assessed current IT ecosystem to identify gaps and to benchmark it against peer organizations. We identified that the client had been under investing IT for over 5 years which drove technical, process, and personnel debt that was impacting IT’s ability to support growth. We developed a strategic roadmap that addresses technical, process, personnel, and financial investment needs to ensure IT can support the planned rapid growth.
Vendor Assessment, Selection, Implementation & Change Management
A leading specialty chemical manufacturer needed to modernize enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to better support current business and planned growth and diversification. Executive leadership understood the need to assess and streamline business processes to maximize the value of a new ERP. We engaged to work with key stakeholders including executive leadership, their parent company’s technology leadership, finance, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, and customer support to document and validate current business processes and highlight areas to focus for a new ERP. We translated these requirements into a comprehensive RFP that was sent to market leaders in the ERP space. We served as independent advisors to help the client review the vendor responses and reach a purchasing decision and will help manage the implementation vendor to ensure a successful implementation.

Current State Assessment - Digital Transformation - Fractional CIO Services

A leading non-profit, with a 140-year legacy of service, needed to modernize its IT Ecosystem, specifically replacing aging custom-built applications, better serve its clients and supports. They engaged our fraction CIO services to work with their C-Suite, functional departments, and IT to document and refine existing processes and map them to a future state.
